Hi, it’s nice to meet you here! My name is Simone and I have been dancing since I was 11 years old. I am a dance artist and BSW graduate with over 15 years of experience as a professional dancer and dance teacher. I care deeply about sharing the transformative nature of dance with youth and adults alike who may not have daily exposure to it.

What makes these workshops different from your average dance class? I teach what I like to call Expressive Movement. My classes are structured to prioritize play, and curiosity in movement. I help students make connections to dance elements such as groove, space, energy, direction, and tempo. Students leave with a better understanding of dance & expression.

I have done workshops in dance studios, elementary schools and yoga retreats and one thing remains the same no matter the audience and that is the JOY that becomes infectious when we move together.
